Monitoring during pregnancy
Gestational Diabetes

Healthy Living

Having a baby is the most amazing experience for a woman.

During pregnancy, one of the conditions that develop is the Gestational Diabetes. Gestational diabetes mellitus (GDM) is currently the fastest growing diabetes in Australia. More than 20% of pregnant women develop GDM. If the women do not keep their blood glucose levels under control, it may lead to the baby growing big and causing complications during and after pregnancy for both the mother and the baby.

The women with GDM have to keep a very close monitor of their sugar levels.

We, at Net-Health, help these women with GDM manage their blood sugar through our home monitoring platform Net-HealthData.

How does Net-HealthData help?

CHOConnect is a simple mobile app for the women to download on their mobile phone that forms part of Net-HealthData platform. All they have to do is register themselves, provide consent to share their blood sugars with their chosen health team (includes team of dietitian, endocrinologist, Diabetes educators).

Every time they take their blood sugar readings, their health team can view it and be alerted for any variations in their reading. With this, the health team can act quickly by introducing medication to keep the blood sugars under control.

Mainly, Net-HealthData provides that peace and confidence to women to enjoy their pregnancy and look forward to having that healthy baby!
